OG&E Delivers Fans to Salvation Army

OG&E delivered 100 fans to the Salvation Army in Fort Smith Wednesday as part of an effort to help low-income and elderly citizens find relief from the heat.

The Salvation Army will begin distributing Fans to Senior Citizens 65 and older on Wednesday, June 18, 2012. Those needing assistance are encouraged to come to The Salvation Army located at 301 N. 6th in Fort Smith.

The Salvation Army is also accepting donations of money for the purchase of new fans which can be dropped off or mailed to the main office.  Donors will receive a tax receipt for that tax deductible donation as well as a Salvation Army Fan Club Member decal.
