Two men were arrested for allegedly robbing another man at a residence in the 900 block of Cavanaugh Road in Fort Smith.

The alleged victim flagged down a patrol officer near the intersection of Cavanaugh and Martin Street just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

He told the officer that two men attacked him and took his cash, social security, drivers’ license, shoes, shirt, belt, and iPhone. He pointed to a black car driving away from the scene, according to the police report.

The officer noticed items being thrown from the passenger side window. The officer stopped the car near the intersection of Torrington Way and Vickery Lane.

The driver, Dustin Bailey, 35, was arrested for robbery and a parole violation. He’s being held without bond. One of his passengers, Somlith Phoumivong, 32, was arrested for robbery and booked into the jail on a $7,500 bond.

According to a police report, the victim’s shoes, belt and iPhone were found inside the suspects’ vehicle. His shirt and cash were found on Bailey. The rest of the items were tossed out the window, police say.
