After a decisive 8-to-1 win over Kent State Saturday night, the Arkansas baseball team now turns its attention to defending national champion South Carolina.

The Razorbacks practiced Sunday morning at Bellview East High School, just outside of Omaha. The team was loose and relaxed as they remain in the winner’s bracketand are confident in their current position.

“Instead of the feeling of being oh and one, knowing you’re one loss away from ending your season, dissappointed,” said Coach Dave Van Horn. ” We’re one and oh.  We’re loose.  In the night game.  In the winner’s bracket.  It’s just a little bit more of a relaxing feeling.”

“We’ve been on the road for awhile, so we’re used to it,” said Junior Hog player Matt Reynolds. ” We played probably one of our best games we played yesterday, and the confidence keeps rising and hopefully it keeps going on Monday.”

The game against the Gamecocks is Monday night. Arkansas will be the visitors. The first pitch is scheduled for 8 p.m.
