Springdale Police are seeking a suspect in an alleged stabbing that left a 30-year-old man hospitalized at Northwest Medical Center.

Jolbo Jasua was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds after a “verbal altercation” with a man identified only as Zackious, according to a news release from the Springdale Police Department. It happened early Friday morning.

The two men had left the Club Congo in Springdale and were in the same vehicle when Zackious pulled a knife and stabbed Jasua in his lower leg, hand and stomach, the release states.

Investigators said the incident occurred at or near the 500 block of Jason Court, where Jasua left the vehicle.

When police responded at 2:40 a.m., they discovered Jasua sitting on the ground, leaning against a vehicle, the release states. He was taken to the hospital for emergency medical treatment. No information was available on his condition.

Early Friday police were looking for a blue Dodge Durango they said might have been involved in the incident.
