Huntsville Gym Offers “Hard Core Workout”

Huntsville residents are fired up about a new business opening.

Huntsville residents are fired up about a new business opening.  We're talking hard core fitness, the first health club the town of Hunstville has had in the last 30 years.
Owner-operator Brad Caldwell said enough was enough and decided to begin the project and turn things around.

“My wife got a coaching job here in Huntsvillelast year, and it just got to a point where I wanted to do something for the community. There was a need for it and so I decided that's what I wanted to do,” said Caldwell.

The last time Huntsville had a gym was in the early 80's in the days of Jane Fonda fitness.
Now instead of spending gas and time to work-out locals can pump iron on the local level.
Before folks had to take a road trip to Fayetteville or Springdale, but now the ''hard core'' workout crowd can keep it local.

The Huntsville Football team have become regular members of the gym while their weight room at the high school undergoes renovations.  Until it's done, the entire team is working out at hard core fitness, ensuring they get their summer workouts.

Members of the football team say they enjoy the new gym.

“I think it's going to be good for the citizens ofHuntsvilleand the athletes to come in and work out and good a good cardio lift in,” said player Shane Mccoy.

While athletes lift weights, the gym is giving customers wallets a lift.
Unlike most health clubs, Hard Core Fitness is offering a $3 per day workout fee.
You can get a membership, but if you want to pay a day-to-day fee you can do so.
You can also join for the first four months for $100 tax included.

Caldwell remains optimistic that cheap prices and consumer interest will continue and attract customers.

“We're still a work in progress and one thing we know is that as people come here, things will grow,” said Caldwell.
