Arkansas’ annual sales tax holiday weekend will begin Saturday, Aug. 4. Oklahoma will kick off their holiday a day earlier on Aug. 3.
In Arkansas, the holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. and ends Sunday, Aug. 5 at 11:59 p.m.
In Oklahoma, the holiday begins at 12:01 am on Friday, Aug. 3, and ends at midnight on Sunday, Aug. 5.
State and local sales tax will not be collected during that period on the sale of clothing and footwear if the sales price is less than $100 per item, clothing accessories and equipment priced at less than $50 per item and school and art supplies, as well as instructional material.
