Ann Naylor, 30, was found around 7 p.m. Wednesday in the woods.

Naylor was treated by emergency medical specialists on the scene and then taken to a Fort Smith hospital to be checked out, said Sheriff Anthony Boen.

More than a dozen agencies, search dogs and hundreds of volunteers searched for Naylor through much of Tuesday and Wednesday along a rugged eight mile radius on foot and on four-wheelers. Crews found Naylor about a half mile from her abandoned car.

"This is a very good ending to a very long two days," Scott said.

The woman called 911 around 1 p.m. Tuesday saying she was lost in the woods near White Rock. Naylor also told the dispatcher someone armed with a gun was chasing her.

Deputies say they don’t believe that is the case now.

“She just recently had her medication changed, so that could have something to do with it,” the sheriff said.
