Gary Dale Vaughan, 41, of Northwest Arkansas, is a person of interest in a car theft, according to investigators with the Van Buren Police.

A 2006 Acura from Bills Auto on Fayetteville Road was reported stolen on July 5. The vehicle was recovered 20 days later in Newton County, Mo., according to Lt. Brent Grill.

Vaughan has been identified as a person of interest in the case. Police are also trying to identify a woman who was traveling with him, Lt. Grill said.
