Ever since Knile Davis returned to practice in the spring for Arkansas he's looked good. There are no signs of that fractured foot giving him a problem, but Davis still hasn't been allowed to take a hit and you can tell on his face he's just dying to get physical.
The team has been doing an awful lot of scrimmage this week but Davis has notably sat out. Everyone says he's 100 percent and that they just don't want to take any chances. But the question becomes: when is he actually going to take a real hit? When asked about it at practice tonight offensive coordinator Paul Petrino didn't really want to get in to a time table on it.
“It's been good, he just needs to make sure he gets his work in the team periods and like inside run he's still getting banged they're just not taking him to the ground. So he just has to get his reads and his footwork down and get to full speed. He's been doing a good job of that. He's got to continue to do that. His attitudes been good. “
