Fayetteville resident Misti Dawn Norris was arrested Wednesday and faces a charge of second degree domestic battery after investigators say she burned her four-year-old daughter with a cigarette.
Police say their investigation revealed the girl was burned on her right shoulder, leaving a wound the size of a dime that burned through several layers of skin.
The 30-year-old Norris has been booked into the Washington County Detention Center.
