Cabela’s Incorporated, will officially open the doors to its Rogers store at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.
The Rogers store opening will make the new location the first Cabela’s in the state of Arkansas.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Cabela’s executives and local dignitaries will begin at 8:45 a.m.
Some eager fans camped out ahead of the new store opening.
Grand opening will kick off a four-day celebration over Labor Day weekend featuring outdoor personalities, celebrity appearances, family events, giveaways and more.
The 100,000-square-foot store will be located adjacent to the Pinnacle Hills Promenade mall at the Perry Road interchange with Interstate 540. It will employ about 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal staff members.
The interior will showcase Cabela’s next-generation layout designed to surround customers in an outdoor-like experience. It will feature thousands of quality outdoor products, including hunting, fishing, camping and hiking gear, as well as outdoor-themed gifts and furnishings. The store will will include a Gun Library, Fudge Shop, Bargain Cave and Deli, as well as a mountain replica featuring North American game animal re-created in their natural habitat, and a built-in aquarium.
