A Northwest Arkansas corn maze organizer is getting in on the 2012 presidential election.

Farmland Adventures flattened its crops to create a ten-acre corn maze in Springdale for the second straight year. This year’s maze, though, resembles the faces of President Barack Obama and Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney.

Organizers say the maze’s theme is meant to remind people to vote in the upcoming November presidential election.

Dwain Parsons, the land’s owner, said the faces were created by programming a GPS unit in a tractor and tiller.

The 18,000-foot maze opens to the public Friday and shuts down Nov. 3.

Farmland Adventures will also offer a petting zoo, pumpkin patch and pony rides.

“The weather was a little hot today, but it’s going to get cool this fall,” Parsons said. “It’s a lot of fun.”

Farmland Adventures is located at 5355 Parsons Rd.
