Arkansas head coach John L Smith released this statement tonight:
“Kiero Small suffered a foot injury during a non-contact drill at practice yesterday. He is to undergo surgery today and we will continue to monitor his status.”
It is unknown how much time Small will miss. He was expected to see more time at linebacker this fall, after practicing at the position more and more the last few weeks.
