A Rogers man faces a charges after assaulting a 14-year-old girl, police said.
Jose Alvaro Umanzor, 37, was arrested Thursday after a disturbance Wednesday.
Rogers police said Umanzor argued with the girl over a cell phone. He grabbed her, threw her against a wall and possibly tried to choke her.
He faces a felony charge of aggravated assault and a misdemeanor battery charge.
He’s in the Benton County Jail awaiting a bond determination.
