Hogs Players Take to Twitter After Razorback Upset

Some Arkansas football players have taken to Twitter to show that they are banding together and picking each other up. 

Arkansas running back Dennis Johnson tweeted:   ‏
“I will go to war with any of my team members… #RazorbackFootball”

Tyler Wilson, Tevin Mitchel and Kody Walker were all injured during Saturday’s game. Their teammates as well as other Razorback fans reached out to the injured players over Twitter.

Ronnie Wingo Jr., Arkansas running back, tweeted:
“Praying for 8, 8, 40”

Dylan Breeding, Arkansas punter, tweeted:
“Everyone please pray for healing for the Razorbacks.”

Some upset Hog fans took to social media, but several players are using criticism to help push them forward.  

Chris Gragg, Arkansas tight end, tweeted:
“I use negative talk as motivation always have always will.”

Breeding ‏ tweeted:
“It’s not about how far you fall but how high you bounce.”

ESPN’s College GameDay broadcast was originally set to come to Fayetteville for the upcoming Alabama matchup, but that all changed after Saturday’s loss to the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

College GameDay ‏ tweeted:
“UL-Monroe wins!! Unbelievable upset over #8 Arkansas. Upset of the young season in college football.”

Chris Fowler with ESPN’s College GameDay tweeted:
“Hey @way2saturday @CollegeGameDay is headed to Knoxville! See u on the set- if u tackle your challenges #way2saturday”

Kirk Herbstreit, also with ESPN’s College GameDay, tweeted:
“Arkansas?? Wow….GD was coming to town next week…La Monroe?? Mercy.”
