The Arkansas Razorbacks are still without their starting quarterback.

Senior Tyler Wilson was in street clothes at practice today in Fayetteville. He did not participate in practice for the second straight day.

The Hogs face the No. 1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m.

Wilson is listed as day to day after taking a blow to the head in the first half of the Razorbacks’ 34-31 overtime loss to Louisiana Monroe Saturday in Little Rock. Wilson did not leave the locker room after halftime. He was held overnight in Little Rock after the game for observation, athletic department officials said.

Head coach John L. Smith told 5NEWS on Monday Wilson has concussion-like symptoms and will not practice until those symptoms are gone. Smith said Wilson was groggy, adding if Wilson does not practice this week he will not play on Saturday.

Brandon Allen finished the game for Arkansas, but Brandon Mitchell was taking snaps at quarterback in practice Tuesday. Mitchell had spent the team’s first two games working at wide receiver as Arkansas was trying to find a way to get the athletic junior on the field.

Mitchell is third on the team with four catches, all of which came in the season opener against Jacksonville State in Fayetteville on Sept. 1.
