Fayetteville Cyclist Hurt in Accident

Fayetteville police responded to an accident Saturday where a woman on a bicycle was hurt.

It happened about 6:40 p.m. at 1189 N. Garland Ave., a report states. A 911 caller told authorities that a car hit a woman riding a bicycle in front of Harps Food Store.

She was taken by ambulance to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
