Rogers Police have released the name of a 17-year-old boy who was arrested along with Jeremy Robert Hendrix, 18, both of Rogers, Monday in connection with recent incidents where women were shot with darts in local parking lots.

William Goines, 17, will be charged as an adult for three counts of battery in the second degree and two counts of battery in the third degree.

Hendrix was charged with two counts of attempted battery and one count of battery, according to police.

The investigation led officers to Hendrix’s residence on West Beechwood Drive in Rogers. Investigators searched both Hendrix’s and the teen’s homes and found evidence, including a blow gun, connecting them to the incidents.

On Sept. 21, a 19-year-old woman reported she had been hit in the neck with a dart in a local shopping center parking lot. Five days later, another woman told police she’d been hit in the back with a dart.

Hendrix and Goines are also accused of shooting a man with a paintball pellet from a moving vehicle on Sept. 13, according to police.

Both men are being held at the Benton County Sheriff’s Office on a $30,000 bond each.
