Greenwood police found a girl who went missing Tuesday after ditching her vehicle.

Kiara M. White, 16, was last seen by family members when she left their Greenwood home in a burnt orange 2009 Kia Borrego SUV Tuesday.

Authorities found the teenager Wednesday after she turned herself in to Yell County law enforcement. She is uninjured, according to the Greenwood Police Department.

Officers located her vehicle Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a business, but Lt. Nicholas Driscoll with Greenwood Police would not specify as to where.

She was last seen wearing brown cowboy boots, blue jeans, and a red long sleeve shirt, with a camouflage jacket, according to a police report. White has friends in the Danville area and it is possible she may have traveled there, police said.
