There will be several opportunites for rain later this week. On Wednesday evening a fast moving front from the north will arrive followed by another system Friday with a warm front and associated cold front arriving from the southwest.

Yet another rainy weekend will be possible on October 13th & 14th as the second low develops and tracks northeast.

This image shows the low in the middle of the atmosphere on Saturday. The thunderstorms are expected to form along and east of the low’s track. Unlike the last few systems, this one has it’s origin from the southwest instead of up in Canada in the northwest. The difference will be a deeper low as the system moves east across the Rockies and into the Plains.

Plenty of unknown details regarding the timing and intensity, but safe to say more rain will impact the area towards the end of the week and the weekend.
