A Springdale man was arrested Saturday night after police say he hit his brother in the face and threatened him with an ice pick.

Rocke Hydrick, 56, was arrested on suspicion of felony aggravated robbery, battery and terroristic threatening. He remained in the Washington County Detention Center on Monday on $12,500 bond.

Hydrick asked his brother for money to get Hydrick’s wallet back from a Dynasty taxi cab he had left the wallet in. When the brother told him he did not have the money, Hydrick became angry and hit the brother in the face four times, according to a preliminary report from the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.

Hydrick then pulled out an ice pick and threatened his brother, saying, “I can be evil. I’ll kill you,” the report states. The brother gave Hydrick the $35 in his pocket and called the police.

Hydrick admitted to officers he struck his brother, police said. Officers then placed Hydrick under arrest.
