Authorities Capture Escaped Adair County Jail Inmate

A West Siloam Springs man who escaped from the Adair County jail is headed back to jail after an overnight search.

Sheriff’s deputies caught up to Nicholas Ames was captured at 1:30 p.m. by the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.

A tip lead authorities to an address in Westville where he was found, according to a report from KOTV in Tulsa.

Ames, 24, was being held on charges of possession with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia before he escaped from the Adair County Jail Thursday around 6:30 p.m.
