Ozark Advances to State Finals: Prairie Grove’s Dream Season Ends

The Ozark Hillbillies came into the 4A State Playoffs as the third seed in their own conference. Now they will play for a State Championship. Ozark beat Highland on the road 28-25 to advance to next week's final.

Quarterback Jonathan McKenzie had 122 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns. McKenzie scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 1-yard dive with 5 minutes left.

Highland came into the game with a hot offense. Ozark held them to 25 points. It's only the third time this season Highland has scored less than 40.

Prairie Grove's undefeated dream season came to an end with a loss to Stuttgart 32-15.

Ozark will play Stuttgart Saturday at 6:30pm at War Memorial Stadium.
