More than 750 angels are still available on the Salvation Army Angel Tree at Central Mall on Rogers Avenue in Fort Smith.
That’s why the Salvation Army has chosen to extend the deadline to Dec. 14, giving people four extra days to adopt an angel to buy for this Christmas.
They are also accepting clothes and coats for children ages newborn-12 years-old and gifts for children ages 6 to 12-years-old.
Items can be returned to the Central Mall Angel Tree, between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. or can be delivered directly to The Salvation Army at 301 N 6th in Fort Smith.
