An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect in a shooting that left one man injured in Fort Smith Monday evening.
Quincy Haymer, Jr., 25, is considered armed and dangerous, according to police. A warrant has been issued for battery first degree and felon in possession of a firearm carry a $100,000 bond.
He is believed to be driving a gold 2005 Toyota Camry bearing Arkansas 502-PGM. Haymer is described as a black man, approximately 6’0” and 175 lbs.

Haymer is known to have ties in Fort Smith, various locations in Sequoyah County, Okla., Oklahoma City, and Chicago, Illinois, according to police.
Police responded to a shooting near Greenwood and Grand Avenue Monday just before 5 p.m. Sherron Zanders, 28, was found in the AutoZone parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, according to investigators.
Investigators believe the fight could have sparked over a woman. Haymer is dating Zanders’ ex-girlfriend, according to police. They believe the argument began at a nearby bank and carried over into the AutoZone parking lot.
Zanders groaned as paramedics treated him in the passenger seat of a black Cadillac. He went to a local hospital via ambulance. Police said Tuesday he is expected to survive.
“I was going through the stop sign and all the sudden I just heard a couple of gunshots, three or four actually,” said Jerry Miller, an eyewitness. “I looked over and seen this guy looked like he's hoping across the road leading the car over there.”
Police blocked off a portion of the AutoZone parking lot. Investigators searched the surrounding area for clues.
“He got shot in the parking lot,” said Jordan Bare, an eyewitness. “The weird thing was we didn't hear any squealing tires.”
