Fort Smith school teachers along with a group of Northside High School students are getting presents ready for local kids.

They gathered at the Community Services Clearinghouse to wrap the presents for kids who take part in the clearinghouse food backpack program.

Money was raised throughout the year by the Fort Smith Classroom Teachers Association to buy the gifts.

Almost 2,400 kids take part in the program.
