One woman was hospitalized after a 14-car accident on Interstate 540 in Rogers early Thursday, officials said.
The woman was transported to Mercy hospital in Rogers with apparent minor injuries, firefighters at the scene said. Others were treated at the site for minor injuries.
Sunlight apparently was the cause of the 7:45 a.m. accident in the southbound lanes near Pinnacle Hills Parkway, said Eddie Thompson, Rogers Fire Department battalion chief.
The scene included several small pile-ups, totaling 14 vehicles, officials said.
Eight cars were towed from the scene, authorities said. The other six drove away.
