The Bentonville Girl's Basketball team has an impressive 18- 2 record and are currently in first place in the 7A Conference.  They are looking to carry their red hot play into the second half of the conference schedule

"We are looking to do the same thing we did first half," said junior Taylor Lee.  "We are a great team this year.  What makes us such a good team is we don't have on specific player we depend on.  We all pick up the slack for each other and we all contribute to this team."

The team kicks off the second half of the conference schedule Friday against Van Buren.  They easily beat them at home 57-33 on January 4th.  The second time playing a team is always more challenging especially when you have to travel to their gym.

"Van Buren is well coached," said Head Coach Tom Halbmaier.  "It is going to be very difficult to go down there on their home court and beat them.  Our girls are up to the task.  They know they have to go there and play hard for four quarters and take care of the ball."
