Bond Proposal Could Save 3 Fayetteville Venues

Before Northwest Arkansas leaders can bring in more entertainment to the region, they must resolve three multimillion dollar venue projects.

The Advertising and Planning Commission will meet today to tackle a permanent home to expand the Arkansas Music Pavilion.

They will also decide whether or not to give the Walton Arts Center $8.5 Million dollars to help with expansion.

Some commissioners have suggested putting the money toward a sports park. The new facility could bring big events to the area, but would cost the city around $27 Million.
