A fire in the parking lot of Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville fully engulfed a passenger car Wednesday night.

The Fayetteville Fire Department responded to the scene around 7 p.m. and quickly put out the flames, but not before the fire completely charred the vehicle.

An ambulance responded to the hospital parking lot, but no one was injured, according to Central Emergency Medical Services.

The fire was out by 7:15 p.m.

The woman driving the car had just turned one of the vehicle’s knobs on, when the fire started, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.
