Woman Injured During Burglary; Suspect On The Loose

A Springdale woman was injured Friday after a man forced his way into her home and then ran off, police say.

An unknown man broke into a woman’s home on Monticello Avenue, during which the woman sustained minor injuries, according to the Springdale Police Department.

Police are now searching for the man, who is described as a short white male in his 20s or 30s, with a medium to large build. He was wearing blue jeans and a plaid shirt at the time of the burglary, the alleged victim told officers. He also may have had glasses and a bushy haircut, according to Springdale police.
