A Crawford County man faces a charge of attempted murder after a woman identified as his girlfriend was shot early Sunday morning in Uniontown.
Eric Duane Butler, 38, was booked in county jail at 5:30 a.m. after the shooting on Sulphur Springs Road. The woman was shot at least once in the back and is in critical condition at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, officials said.
