A 6-year-old boy was killed when the utility vehicle he was driving flipped and landed on him Tuesday night, according to the Crawford County Sheriff.
The accident happened on the family’s property in the 1800 block of Hamer Road, Sheriff Ron Brown said.
The child was driving the “side-by-side” vehicle when it flipped, ejecting him. The vehicle landed on the boy, the sheriff said. He sustained severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at Summit Hospital, according to Brown.
The boy’s father and another child were riding with him at the time of the accident. They suffered minor injuries.
The name of the victim has not been released.
