A Tontitown man is facing felony voyeurism charges after police say he videotaped a 16-year-old female family member in the shower.

Christopher Robert Howe,  41, of Tontitown allegedly recorded the girl taking a shower on five known instances, according to an arrest report.

Police say Howe sent the material to himself on a laptop. Investigators seized a cell phone and computer in the investigation.

According to an arrest report Tontitown Police were notified of the crime by Howe’s wife.  She told authorities he would run if courts set a low bond amount.  Prosecutors say Howe has a history of avoiding warrants and is currently facing charges for skipping a court date in Florida.

District Attorney John Threet says his office plans to request a high bond to circumvent the possibility of Howe fleeing.

Howe is scheduled to appear in Washington County Circuit Court for a bond hearing March 29.
