Most of the time fans don’t see a 7-year-old on a football field with college players, but that wasn’t the case at the University of Nebraska’s spring football game April 8.
Jack Hoffman, a big fan of Nebraska was allowed the chance to play with the team over the weekend.
Hoffman is fighting brain cancer. He was diagnosed two years ago and is on a break from chemotherapy.
Not only did Hoffman get an honorary #22 pint-sized jersey, he also got the chance to play in the fourth quarter of the game. A teammate handed him the ball and the young boy hustled down the field to score a 69-yard touchdown.
Hoffman was then hoisted up into the air by players on both teams as the crowd roared with applause.
