A vehicle struck a small boy Tuesday afternoon in Rogers while the car was backing out of a driveway, police say.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene of the pedestrian accident on 36th Street at about 3 p.m. Police said a car was backing out of a driveway, when it struck a five-year-old boy.
The boy’s injuries appeared to be minor, although he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, according to the Rogers Fire Department.
