SGL Carbon announced Wednesday (April 17) plans to invest $26 million into the company’s Ozark manufacturing facility.
The expansion will allow for a state-of-the-art graphitization workshop, according to a news release from the company.
SGL’s Ozark facility, which employs more than 90 people, manufactures ultra-high-power graphite electrodes for the production of steel in electric arc furnaces, the release states.
The expansion is expected to be complete by June 2015.
