Saturday morning in Rogers Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas of the US Women’s Gymnastics team was in town promoting her latest product YoCrunch’s healthy treat, Yopa!™ Authentic Greek Yogurt.

Dozens of young girls were there, full of excitement, hoping to meet their idol.

“I was one of those girls once upon a time and I looked up to Dominique Dawes so I was in those shoes,” said Douglas.

Douglas won individual gold and all-around team gold at the 2012 summer Olympics. She’s the first black gymnast to ever win individual gold. Douglas also took the time to sign copies of her new book “Grace Gold and Glory. Douglas had a message for all young ladies out there hoping to be the next Olympic star.

“My message would be work hard and use that support system and just have fun. Go 100 percent on what you do and never quit. Believe in yourselves.”
