Barrett Astin and Colby Suggs combined on a six-hit shutout as the Arkansas baseball team beat Georgia 2-0 on the road Friday night.
Astin recorded his third win of the season and had a career-high eight shutout innings, giving up four hits and striking out eight.
Suggs earned his sixth save of the season, striking out one and giving up two hits in a scoreless ninth inning.
The Hogs had just three hits in the game but Brian Anderson made them count. He had two of the hits, along with a RBI. Jake Wise had the other hit for the Razorbacks and also drove in a run.
The Razorbacks struck first with a run in the top of the third when Anderson roped a single to left field, scoring Jacob Morris.
Arkansas added an insurance run in the top of the eighth. With the bases loaded and two out, Wise was hit by a pitch, scoring Matt Vinson.
Arkansas and Georgia continue the three-game series on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 11 a.m.
