Once upon a time an eighth grade kid came to America hoping to play soccer. Now, five years later, he's going to play football for the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Seung Jae Lee came to the United State from Korea. He went to Shiloh Christian as a huge soccer fan, but Shiloh doesn't have a soccer team. So, he joined the football squad, became a kicker, and has officially accepted a walk on offer from Bret Bielema at Arkansas.

He doesn't expect to play right away because of senior Zack Hocker, but Lee says he plans on competing for the job eventually, something he never could have dreamed about five years ago when he came to the states.

"I was in PE class and we were playing kick ball," said Lee. "I hit a ball really hard and the football coach came up to me and said, 'Hey, do you want to play football?'”

Lee went home to talk to his parents about joining the football team and immediately his talent stood out.

“I came out the next day and I hit a 45 yard field goal as an 8th grader,” he said. “So I realized I do have natural talent and I developed that and this is where I am now.”

Lee will join the rest of the incoming freshman early this summer for team works out.
