Mallory Cooke, who is known throughout the area for her “go get ’em” and aggressive reporting style, will be putting down the microphone and appearing on the other side of the camera Friday night (May 3) as she will appear on TLC’s television show, “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta.”
The former 5NEWS reporter recently moved to Tennessee in April for her upcoming wedding and to start her married life with her soon to be husband. She is now a morning anchor at station there. She had been a familiar and trusted face in the area since August of 2010.
Cooke will be walking down the aisle in September. She met her soon to be husband while on the job while she was covering a fire in Tennessee–they met at the fire station, and the rest as they say, is history.
You can get a glimpse and watch the process of picking out her bridal gown on the popular TLC show when it airs at 8 p.m. Central Time.
She posted this on her personal Facebook page Friday, “Want to see what I’ll be wearing when I walk down the aisle in September? Watch Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta TONIGHT on TLC! The show airs at 9 p.m. on the east coast and 8pm central time! Chris Bell can’t watch…so please DO NOT give him any hints about the dress! Molly Fedick, Madison Cooke, Alisha Evans, Carolyn Jeffery, Ann Bell, and my mom gave some awesome and very honest advice :)”
