A drug bust in Fort Smith was all caught on camera Wednesday (May 15).

Officers said they witnessed a hand-to-hand drug transaction on the corner of Barry St. and May Avenue. Authorities then stepped in.

Fort Smith resident Justin cook used his quick reflexes by pulling out his camera phone to film the bust.

"Well, I just think now, like, when there's a situation like that I immediately pull out my phone and just start filming, just because you don't know like if you are going to see a meteor or something crazy happening," Cook said. "This was amazing, it was definitely a demonstration of police efficiency."

Sgt. Daniel Grubbs said $100 was seized along with a black Mercedes and a red Chevrolet Cobalt from the bust.
