The men were working on the roof when it collapsed on May 8.
Cody Jones, who is the brother of Sheriff Anthony Boen, is the only one still hospitalized. Jones has no feeling on the right side of his body and limited feeling on the left, according to family members; however his doctors have told him he should be able to walk again.
Pastor Lamar Joy, who also suffered serious injuries in the collapse, says the congregation is focusing on moving forward with the rebuilding.
"It was pretty devastating to say the least, all of us especially all of those who got hurt we're excited about going back we hope to finish before long,” Pastor Joy.
Volunteers from other area churches have helped with the work. Pastor Joy hopes to have the new sanctuary completed by the end of June.
A dinner to help with Jones’ medical expenses is set for 7 p.m., June 1 at the Gardner Life Center in Ozark. Contributions and donations can be made to an account #11275087 at Simmons Bank.
