A man accused of killing his 3-month-old baby in Crawford County last year pleaded guilty Friday (May 17) to a first degree murder charge.
Christian Wright, 20, of Little Rock, was sentenced to 20 years in prison with an additional 20 years suspended, according to Prosecutor Marc McCune.
The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Wright in February 2012. He fled to Little Rock where authorities caught up to him.
The baby boy, Jayden Wright, died on Jan. 11, 2012, in a Little Rock hospital, according to an obituary. He died of shaken baby syndrome, according to McCune.
