“Greater” movie producers looking for Hog fan extras

The producers of the film “Greater” about the life of former Arkansas standout offensive lineman Brandon Burlsworth are looking for Hog fan extras.

ARKANSAS, USA — The producers of the film "Greater" about the life of former Arkansas standout offensive lineman Brandon Burlsworth, are looking for some willing Razorbacks fans.

The film needs extras to fill the stands at the Reynolds Razorback Stadium for the recreation of practices and games from the 1990s when Burlsworth played for Arkansas. Burlsworth was a third-round draft choice in the 1999 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts but died soon after in a car accident.

Actor Neal McDonough, who will appear in the film, gave his pitch to get Razorback fans to appear.

"If you're a true Razorback fan, you'll show up, because we need to pack these stands with Razorback fans and who better to ask than Razorback fans, please show up," said McDonough, known for his role in the HBO series "Band of Brothers."

The producers request anyone interested in appearing as an extra to show up at 9 a.m. this week at Gate 10 at the Razorback Stadium. Producers need fans on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Producers say face paint and other era-appropriate props are encouraged.

Potential extras are asked to wear Razorback gear from the era since the film is depicting Burlsworth's career at Arkansas that ran from 1994-1998.
