A Huntsville woman is behind bars after deputies say she ran over her boyfriend during an argument Monday night, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Amanda Sue Gunsalus was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and booked into the Madison County Jail. Her boyfriend told deputies that the couple was out driving Monday night, when they got into an argument and Gunsalus struck him with her car, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies are not releasing the boyfriend’s name, his condition or further circumstances of the incident that led to Gunsalus’ arrest because it is an open investigation, a deputy with the Sheriff’s Office told 5NEWS.
