Springdale Infant Killed in One-Vehicle Crash

An infant was killed in a deadly car accident in Madison County Sunday afternoon.

A Springdale infant was killed in a deadly car accident in Madison County Sunday (May 26), authorities said.

Hannah Bryan, 20, of Springdale was driving a 1999 Toyota westbound on Highway 16 near Crosses around 4:30 p.m. with two infant passengers. An Arkansas State Police crash report states Bryan's vehicle struck a road sign and slid down a steep embankment, hitting several trees along the way. The vehicle came to rest in a culvert on its right side, the report states.

Elisha Van Hoose, 9-months old, was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., where she later died.

Bryan and the other passenger, a 6-month-old infant, were also injured in the crash, according to the crash report. They were taken to Northwest Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, authorities said.

The relationship between the victims isn't known. However, all three were list on the State Police report as having the same home address.
