Ryne Stanek continues to pile up postseason awards during his junior season.

Arkansas’ junior pitcher was named a second team All-American by Collegiate Baseball on Thursday.

Stanek is 9-2 this season with an ERA of 1.40, best in the SEC and the third best in school history. Stanek has been even better against SEC opponents this season as his ERA is 0.86 in 73 innings of work.

The Razorbacks will turn to Stanek on Saturday in the Manhattan regional at Kansas State this weekend. The junior has been the game two, weekend starter all season long and coach Dave Van Horn will not change that in the postseason.

Arkansas will face Bryant University Friday at 7 p.m. Kansas State hosts Wichita State at 2 p.m. in the opening game of the regional. The two winners and the two losers will face one another on Saturday in the four team, double elimination tournament.
