Woman sentenced to prison for planting a severed finger in a bowl of Wendy’s chili heads back to jail. This time for another one of her stories.

She’s known as the chili-finger lady. Anna Ayala, entered the national spotlight in 2005 when she claimed she found a severed finger in her bowl of chili at Wendy’s. It seemed that wasn’t the case. Ayala was found guilty of planting it there herself, she was sentenced to four years in prison.

Now, eight years later, the Northern California woman is headed back to prison based on another story she told police. This time, she told police two people had shot her son, 26 year old Guadalupe “Junior” Reyes.

What really happened, reports show, is Reyes accidentally shot himself. He was on parole for felony burglary conviction-and having a gun violated his parole. Reyes was charged with felony possession of a firearm.

Both Ayala and REyes will spend two years in prison for the charges against them.
