Dump Truck Overturns In Bentonville; Driver Hospitalized

A dump truck filled with topsoil turned over while on a Bentonville highway Friday morning, injuring the driver, according to emergency responders.

Emergency crews from Bentonville and Centerton responded at 11:15 a.m. to a location just west of the intersection of Arkansas Highway 72 and Tater Black Road in western Bentonville. A dump truck carrying topsoil crashed and overturned just off of the road on a curve, trapping the driver inside, according to the Bentonville Fire Department.

Responding crews freed the driver and transported him to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to the fire department.
